At Perfection Press we believe Sales is about helping you reach your goals. Knowing if you reach your goals we will reach ours. We want to be your print partner not people pushing product. Our sales force has over 160 years of experience. Let us put that experience to work for you.
Robert has over 30 years of print sales starting with Curtis 1000, an envelope, stationery and business forms printing company This began a journey in print sales, starting in commercial printing for 10 years and book printing for the last 22 years, including 15 years at The Covington Group of Kansas City.
In July of 2014, Robert accepted a new opportunity at Perfection Press in Sales. Perfection Press is an aggressive print manufacture that has many wonderful and talented people. They have helped him to use his experience to help customers. His goal is to listen to people and get them what they want.
He loves to read and that’s why he enjoys his profession, turning publisher’s titles into books, and books change the world.
After graduating from Central Michigan University in 1981 with his degree in Business administration and Marketing, John’s career was selected for him when he was contacted by Edwards Brothers, Inc. to see if he would be interested in interviewing for a print sales position. Knowing nothing about book manufacturing, and at that time not much of a reader, John took this opportunity to see what the printing and publishing industry was all about. Once John discovered that there was more to books than turning them in at the end of a semester for beer money, he was hooked. In March of 2019 John will celebrate his 38th year in print sales.
In July of 2018, after a few stops along the way at other large book manufacturers, John decided to accept his new role at Perfection Press as Director of New Business Development. Though Perfection Press is relatively new to the marketplace, and much smaller than John’s other employers, he recognized the growth potential of this up and coming printer and wanted to be part of their steady growth and success.
John and Donna, his wife of 37 years, live in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. They have three grown children and three grandchildren. In John’s spare time he likes to spend time with his family, golf, fish, and read a good book. That is after he has examined the book he’s reading for any flaws. Like Perfection Press, John’s a stickler for quality.
